The foundation of any exceptional breeding program begins with exceptional cats.

We have carefully sourced our breeding cats from established Ragdoll programs around the world, importing cats from respected bloodlines to bring outstanding genetics to Arizona.

We select our breeding cats for much more than appearance. Health, structure, temperament, pedigree, genetic diversity, and adherence to the Ragdoll breed standard are all considered when making breeding decisions.

We actively show our cats through CFA, allowing our breeding cats to be evaluated against the written Ragdoll breed standard and alongside other high-quality Ragdolls.

Our goal is not simply to reproduce the cats we have today. We breed with each generation in mind, continually working toward healthier, more structurally correct, beautiful, and even-tempered Ragdolls.

Health is one of the most important foundations of our program.

Every breeding cat receives Wisdom Panel genetic testing, allowing us to screen for numerous inherited diseases and genetic conditions before making breeding decisions.

Our health program also includes:

• Comprehensive DNA screening

• FeLV/FIV blood testing

• PCR testing for infectious diseases

• Routine veterinary care and wellness examinations

• Age-appropriate vaccination and preventative care

Genetic testing does not replace responsible breeding. Itt gives us another valuable tool when making informed breeding decisions.

We maintain detailed health information on our cats and carefully consider health history, genetics, pedigree, temperament, and previous offspring when planning future pairings.

Maintaining a healthy cattery requires more than testing alone.

We follow strict biosecurity practices designed to protect our breeding cats, mothers, and developing kittens from unnecessary exposure to infectious disease.

New cats entering our program undergo appropriate health screening before being introduced into our established population. We utilize PCR testing and FeLV/FIV testing as part of our disease-prevention program and maintain controlled environments for our cats and kittens.

Our kittens are raised within our private home rather than in a high-volume kennel environment. This allows us to closely monitor their health, development, appetite, behavior, and overall wellbeing every day.

Our kittens are born and raised in our home and receive hands-on care and affection beginning from their very first day of life.

We believe temperament is influenced by both genetics and environment, which is why we select exceptionally sweet, even-tempered parents and then build upon that foundation through intentional early socialization.

Our kittens grow up knowing people, household activity, handling, grooming, play, and affection as normal parts of everyday life.

We don't simply want our kittens to tolerate living with people. We want them to love being part of a family.

Our kittens are intentionally handled and gently desensitized throughout their development.

From a young age, we routinely handle their:

• Paws and toes

• Nails

• Ears

• Mouth and face

• Belly

• Coat and tail

This prepares them for everyday experiences such as veterinary examinations, nail trimming, grooming, dental checks, and being handled by their future families.

Our kittens also receive regular nail trims and grooming while in our care. They are gradually introduced to bathing, blow dryers, and our drying box so these experiences are familiar rather than completely new or frightening later in life.

The result is a kitten that has already developed a strong foundation for being handled, groomed, examined, and cared for throughout their lifetime.

Our socialization program extends beyond simply holding and playing with our kittens.

As they become developmentally ready, our kittens are introduced to experiences they are likely to encounter throughout their lives.

This includes car rides and carrier training. Rather than having their first carrier experience occur during a stressful veterinary visit or on go-home day, we allow our kittens to become familiar with carriers beforehand.

We want everyday experiences to feel normal and manageable, helping our kittens develop into confident, adaptable adults.

Our nursery is designed to encourage appropriate physical and mental development.

As our kittens grow, they are provided with cat trees, climbing equipment, scratching surfaces, tunnels, toys, and age-appropriate enrichment.

Climbing, balancing, jumping, chasing, and interactive play help kittens develop coordination, confidence, strength, and gross motor skills.

Their environment evolves with them as they reach new developmental milestones.

Litter box training begins at approximately 4 weeks of age, as our kittens begin weaning and naturally become more independent from their mother.

We use appropriately sized litter boxes and safe, non-clumping pine pellet litter during early development.

By the time our kittens leave us, they have had weeks of consistent litter box experience and are well established in their litter habits.

Proper nutrition during kittenhood plays an important role in growth and development. Our kittens receive high-quality wet and dry kitten foods along with carefully selected additions to provide dietary variety.

Depending on age, our kittens may be exposed to foods and additions such as:

• Probiotics

• Cooked egg

• Cooked lamb

• Cooked beef

• Cooked goat

• A variety of high-quality wet-food textures and proteins

Introducing appropriate variety during development exposes our kittens to different proteins, flavors, and textures while they are young. We believe this helps create more adaptable eaters and can be especially beneficial for a breed that may develop sensitive stomachs or strong food preferences. 

Every kitten receives preventative care appropriate for their age while they remain with us.

Our kittens receive age-appropriate vaccinations, routine preventative care, and a veterinary examination prior to leaving our home.

We continue keeping kittens current on their vaccinations as they age in our care, so an older kitten may leave with additional vaccines beyond our standard minimum go-home protocol.

Our kittens are also spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to joining their new families.

We want families to bring home a kitten whose health, preventative care, and early development have been thoughtfully managed from birth.
